Ashland University Family & Consumer Sciences alumna Alicia A. (Cannon) Bogard, MSW, LISW, has co-authored a book titled “My Life’s Reflection: A Life Review Workbook.”
The second half of the book provides an educational grief section with resources on topics associated with death and dying.
The book’s publisher, Tate Publishing and Enterprises, said that Bogard and Bechtel applied their combined experience of working in hospice, with social workers, and as grief counselors to write this book with the hopes that it be used as a source of peace as one prepares to transition from this life into the next.
Bogard graduated from Ashland University in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in child & family studies. She went on to earn a master’s degree in social work and is a licensed independent social worker.
The book is available through Tate Publishing and Enterprises and can be purchased online at http://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore/book.php?w=9781621472339.
